Travel by car
If you are travelling from the south, exit the M6 at Junction 35 and if you’re travelling from the north, exit at Junction 36. Follow the signs to Burton-in-Kendal and the A6070. Sat Nav & Google may try and take you via the A65 and through very narrow country lanes with few passing places (the A6070 is quicker, even though it’s slightly longer in distance). Just outside Burton-in-Kendal is Clawthorpe. Turn up this road and at the very top of the hill, when you see the view in front, you’ll come to a crossroads. Whin Yeats Farm is on the left, and the Roundhouse is to the right.
The postcode is located at another farm straight ahead so don’t follow sat nav for the final section – it’s best to search for us on Google maps and follow the Google directions.
Travel by bicycle
We are close to a number of designated cycle ways. It’s a challenging ride to the Roundhouse, but a very satisfying one!
