Prices vary per room (see below), and include:

  • Accommodation
  • 3-course meal & briefing on the first night
  • Breakfast provisions for the first day
  • Self-guided walking routes, accessible directly from Post Knott Lodge or via public transport (you are welcome to drive but incorporating a bus or boat ride can add to the adventure!)
  • Tailor-made advice and support, before & during your stay

Food Glorious Food

Hiya, it’s Chef Marcus here, and I’m really looking forward to meeting you during your stay in the Lake District. I’ve been a chef for just over 25 years, and my first role in the kitchen was for the late Gary Rhodes in the New Forest, some say I’ve taken on not just his recipes but his really messy hair! I’ve also worked with Chef Ramsey and even Raymond Blanc; that was a fair few years ago as a junior, and nowadays, I run a business as your very own private chef.

The kitchen at the lodge is well laid out, so you’re more than welcome to grab a glass, sit at the island, and watch me as I rustle up some incredible food. See you at your dinner table!
